Responsibility to Protect 15 Years On: Where to Now?

ECR2P Co-Director, Dr Cristina Stefan, welcomed the audience and our excellent guest speaker, Dr Karen Smith, to the University of Leeds

Dr Smith then delivered a fascinating talk to a sold out audience. Dr Smith’s Keynote Speech covered the political progress made on the R2P, as well as both the conceptual and practical challenges of implementing the R2P in both the past, present and future. The speech was concluded with recommendations for future areas of research on the R2P.

The fourth annual lecture was followed by an insightful and engagement Q&A session.
