Dr Chiara De Franco Commences Visiting Fellowship at the ECR2P

We are pleased to have launched our Visiting Fellowship Program with Dr Chiara De Franco, Associate Professor in International Relations and Deputy Head of the Centre for War Studies at the University of Southern Denmark. Previously, Dr De Franco has been a Research Fellow in War Studies at King’s College London and Coordinator of the Task Force for the EU Prevention of Mass Atrocities. Her research interests straddle the fields of International Political Communication, Conflict and Mass Atrocities Prevention, and EU Common Foreign and Security Policy. Dr De Franco has been with the ECR2P at the University of Leeds for one full month, conducting research and delivering the first presentation that also launched our ECR2P Research Seminar Series. The latter is now a permanent seminar series where ECR2P researchers and guest speakers from outside the University present their current research projects on topics related to the R2P, EU, and protection.
