The ECR2P's written evidence has been published as part of a broader Inquiry by the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee on Xinjiang detention camps.
The ECR2P's submission speaks to the Committee’s questions: how effective is the FCDO’s current approach to atrocity prevention, and how can it be restructured to maximise the UK’s impact in this area?
The evidence concludes that the UK's commitment to atrocity prevention must be integrated with its wider foreign policy objectives, including its responsibility to maintain international peace and security and meet other global challenges.
