A 2021 Roundtable on The Responsibility to Protect in a Changing World Order has been published by the journal Ethics & International Affairs. The Routable features articles from ECR2P Co-Directors, Dr Adrian Gallagher and Dr Cristina Stefan.

Dr Gallagher's article, co-authored with Professor Nicholas J. Wheeler, is titled 'Trust or Perish? The Responsibility to Protect and Use of Force in a Changing World Order' and asks the reader to consider the role that trust, distrust, and ambivalence play in enabling and constraining the use of force under pillar three of the Responsibility to Protect (RtoP).

Dr Stefan's article, titled 'The Responsibility to Protect: Locating Norm Entrepreneurship', examines the issue of norm entrepreneurship as it has been used in conjunction with the Responsibility to Protect (RtoP), twenty years after the emergence of The Responsibility to Protect report produced by the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty (ICISS).

Other contributions to the Routable include Professor Michael Ignatieff, Dr Luke Glanville and Professor James Pattison, and Professor Jennifer Welsh.
